Do you check your spam folder?

I do. I always check my spam folder before I delete those unwanted emails…just to make sure I don’t get rid of anything important. And, believe it or not, I have actually found few non-junk mails from the junk folder.

Like the one I recovered today.

I was going thru the junk mail folder so I can empty it, when one mail among the many others stood out. Only a glance at the unread email, I had a feeling it’s from a long lost friend. And as it turns out, it really is from her. An old old old close friend of mine. All these years, I had tried v hard to find her contact info. I had created accounts on facebook, orkut etc. with the hopes of finding her. But I never did…and I eventually gave up and even deleted those accounts. I had asked about her to other common friends of ours, but no one ever had any info to share.

So I was only left with little to no hope of ever talking to her again.

And today, out of the blue, I see an email from her on my spam folder.

What can I say? I’m so happy. I can’t wait to get back in touch.

😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀

i met my old bestest childhood friend after 13 years recently.
we were in the same school in Chennai. then i moved to Mumbai and lost touch. I searched for her on Orkut after coming to London and found her! I also came to know she’s coming to London for a month for work. Then we met after 13 years, not in Chennai, not in Mumbai, nowhere in India, but oceans away in London. Destiny. 6 months later she came again with her mom! And it was such a pleasure to meet sweet aunty too. It felt soooo good to see her and also to see nothing much had changed betw us 🙂

Good going Titaxy – am happy for you 🙂

Awww I’m happy for ya!!! 😀

I did create accounts on various social networking sites in search of my bestie. Though I found her, she refuses to speak. 😦

Some female injected her with misunderstandings and she took the initiative to part ways with me. 😥

Later on, she did realize and regret about the whole thing. But now, she’s trying to forget the past, including me.

    Still love her! 😦

Though I’m aware about her whereabouts thru common friends, it’s never been same without her… and till date I sit here awaiting a mail from her…

oh that’s bad…misunderstandings are the worst :-(….hope she realizes and things become normal between the two of you..hugs dear!

Checking Spam? really? I can hardly pull myself to check my Inbox. Email is a such a boring thing. Only VoiceMMessages can beat it. Anyways, let me clean up my “unread” Inbox items and then maybe will look at Spam. But going thru’ the comments, it explains why I never won a lottery or got any govt aid :-). Did by any chance your friend write anything on the lines of “are you looking for a lost…”, “do you remember those…” or any of such typical marketing lines?

i guess i have a lotta time compared to you :P…

no she didn’t write anything like that…it was a straight forward mail with a basic hi hello and some wishes :D..that’s all…wonder why that went to spam…oh well.

you know this is sooooo true…i’ve actually seen this happen many many times with me….when i frantically look for something i can’t find it….and when i let go, i seem to find it all the time…funny, but true :D..
