Life, so fun

With a frown on his face
and a load in his heart
he melted in Ma’s embrace
asking her why he isn’t as smart.

A peacock allures us
with a beauty so divine
A songbird relieves stress
with her voice so fine.

A tiger’s boon
is his looks, so grand
A lion, even when in his cocoon,
is still the king of the land.

I don’t have any such talent to show
to make me stand out of the crowd
Why didn’t on me god bestow
something special to be proud?

Remember, my dear, that life is a ticket
to the greatest show on earth

From cat to cricket,
we all have, in us, a strength that’s worth.

You, my baby, are strong in will
with a determination that will forever stay.
You have the power to kill
every obstacle that comes your way.

Now give me a wide grin
and go back to show everyone
that you are ready to spin
the wheels of life, so fun.

This is my entry for Carry on Tuesday Prompt #38 – Life is a ticket to the greatest show on earth.

And that is exactly how every mom should respond. Every child special..every child his own strengths..all we need to do is let the children find theirs..

    Bravo T 🙂

    🙂 Thanks, Comfy.
