Six-Word Memoir

Shilpa wrote about the Six-Word Memoir initiative by SMITH Magazine and so, here I go with a post on it :). My 6 word memoris…my blog’s and my life’s.

———————

My blog…Memories and Mirages –

Reminiscing yesterday, living today, fantasizing tomorrow.

But you already knew that, didn’t you? I started this blog with just that much in mind. Inspired by another blogger (who btw, in spite of having an awe-inspiring way with words, doesn’t write anymore :-x), I embarked on the journey to chronicle the memories of my past and the dreams of my future. And it turned out to be another wonderful way to explore myself, among other things. So far so good…I love it!

———————

My life –

Wave…highs, lows…embrace all gracefully.

Not that I always do or even know how to handle the ups and downs of life with grace…but I try. Gloating a lot over joy or sulking too much into grief doesn’t really help because nothing is here to stay. So, smile or cry and move on…just like a wave…because there’s more to come. 🙂

———————

All right, enough about me and my blog. You tell me, what’s your Six-Word Memoir? I would love to know.

good one 🙂 it is so much better if we can enjoy the present rather than spending time regretting the past or worrying about the future…present is all that counts 🙂

Thanks so much 🙂 You made my day.

For some reason, WP doesn’t like me and thinks I’m a spammer. Please check your spam for my comments on your yesterday’s post. I left one yesterday and repeated it today, but I think both went to spam 😦

Thanks :D. I wasn’t patient, really. 🙂 When I saw that my comment didn’t go thru the first time, I made wordpress’ accusation of me being a spammer become true 😛 I left a couple more comments, although it was jut a repetition. 😀 So yes, spammer, I am 😀

Nice! Hmm…makes me think about mine (Don’t know what it would be yet…but something like ‘change is the only constant’…but that’s 5 words!). I bet though ‘life’ would be pretty similar! 🙂

🙂 Do write when you figure out yours 😀
