    Finally a new post from you 🙂 Missed you! Looks so beautiful, is it an early morning picture? How do you get to that landing in the middle of the water?

    No this isn’t an early morning pic – I never get up early enough to capture the morning serenity 😀 this was taken in the afternoon

    Getting to that landing – swim, probably 😛 …I don’t know 😀

        Sonia, if you notice, there is a rope around the first dock; marking the designated swimming area. The dock serves as a sort of jumping/diving board for kids. The second dock is probably for smaller boats as a temporary resting area. Another reason why these maybe away from the shore is to keep the (underneath) floats from rubbing against lake bottom/rocks. If they don’t remove the docks in winter and if they are close to the shore, there is always a chance that blocks of ice will push it against the shore and damage it.
